My daughter is raising her children that way and I can take them anywhere. Fancy restaurants when I get paid and they have always behaved like ladies and gentlemen-- and there are 6 of them. I get compliments from the staff when we leave too. Manners are so important, everyone wins, especially the kids when the grow up.

Had great fun today with my two youngest grandson out at my sister Shelley's. They got to ride the pony, Leo and the played with there cousins and had a great time. I got to sit and visit with my niece and her fab hubby. I love birds but had never held anything bigger is size than a cockatiel but ---- Shelly has this parrot who decided he liked me and climbed onto my shoulder cuddled up to my cheek and just talked and talked to me. Let me tell you I had vid ions of all the horror stories I heard - bitten ears cheeks etc. I was a mite on the nervous side but we just talked and talked. What a sweet sweet boy. I know that he felt how nervous I was and he was just a sweetie about it all.
