Refresh Your Home with Seasonal Art Seasonal art All too often we let the hustle and bustle of life distract us from slowing down and enjoying our time. Days quickly bleed into months and before we know it, we're saying, "I can't believe the year is almost over." One way to be more mindful of our moments is to integrate rituals and traditions which mark the passing of time. Weekly events like family game night or a spring softball league draw our attention to the flow of our lives. A simple tradition you can adopt to be more present in your life is the monthly decoration of your home. Picking one Saturday a month to replace "seasonal artwork" around the house can not only refresh your view but also remind you to celebrate the here and how. This might include art which matches the seasonal mood, specific holidays, colors/tones/textures, or inspirational vistas. Replacing 4 - 5 pieces of artwork in high-visibility locations can really change the feel of an interior. A cost-effective and attractive way to implement this "seasonal decorating" approach is the use of custom canvas artwork. Mounted on sturdy wood frames and ready to hang, canvas prints allow you to tastefully and simply freshen up your decor.

One of Jess' clients heard about the boys singing at Carnegie and as she was in New York, she bought a ticket and went. She went looking for the boys and found them. She is the one who sent me the pictures I just posted to my timeline. Their group is one of 5 choirs invited to sing there. So proud of all the kids in the group.

I have goose bumps. Just heard the Choir's rehearsal at Carnegie Hall. My oldest Grandsons Kyle (17) tenor and Nathan (14) Bass are members of their high school Chamber Singers (the best of the best only invited). The choir was invited to join the 322 member National Youth Choir. They are in New York now and will be giving a 3 hour concert Sunday Night. So proud of them - both straight A students with a full load of AP only classes. Nathan is the first freshman ever to be invited into the Chamber singers (you have to be a sophmore ((cannot spell it)) but when the choirmaster heard him sing - that was that. They are having so much fun. Get to go touring on their down time. I will post pictures and maybe a video when they get back.
